Becky’s book “Isha: She Will Be Called” was published in November 2021 and is available at the event to purchase, through Amazon and at Saskatoon’s McNally Robinson Bookstore. I wrote the forward to this gem and Becky is the primary author of the book along with many local contributors. “Isha: She Will Be Called, is the first instalment in a book series about women, for women, and written by women. An eclectic collection of exposé, storytelling and creative writing in various forms by Becky Thomas and members of the artistic guild, Hummingbird Circle, it celebrates the making of the first woman, Isha, also known as Eve. Isha seeks to answer questions such as:

"Why was Isha made?"
"What, if anything went wrong?"
"Is there any hope of her being restored?"
and "How does her story intersect with mine?"

Not a typical resurrection of tired, old stereotypes, Isha: She Will Be Called serves to help us read some old stories differently, and challenges to rethink how we relate to the Creator, ourselves and one another.”

I'm excited to partner with Becky Thomas, (Founder of the Hummingbird Circle and Author of Isha: She Will be Called), to help create a weekend just for you! With everything going on in our world today, it is good for the soul to pull away and spend some much needed time with the Lord and be inspired through His word as sisters in Christ and to

"... encourage every woman to discover the intrinsic value of her voice and story, and the golden threads that make it so. Our mission is to help weave these threads into an artistic expression to be passed from generation to generation ." (Hummingbird Vision)

I'm thrilled to see this vision take flight in a greater capacity in 2022 and am honoured to help host this event and support this launch:) There will be more opportunities to engage with the Hummingbird Circle through various ways in the coming year which will be shared during the retreat.
